Pavel Hejsek's Keys to Success

Pavel Hejsek believes that a balanced life is the key to success. On the tennis court, in
the classroom and on Wall Street, Pavel has always been driven by an intrinsic desire
to accomplish each and every one of his goals. He exemplifies the belief that “anything
is possible,” proving that a boy from the Czech Republic could someday make it to the
capital of the financial world.

Pavel came to the United States in the hopes of receiving a quality education from an
established higher learning institution. He pursued his education at Dickinson College; an
institution with a storied and reputable history located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. While
attending Dickinson, Pavel was Team Captain of the tennis team in both 2008 and 2010,
and was granted the honor of team MVP in 2010.

During summer breaks, Hejsek sought internships at Deutsche Bank, located on Wall
Street, and the GIC Group – an agribusiness consultancy and investment services firm.
Having been successful at Deutsche during his internship, he was picked up as an analyst
upon his graduating Magna Cum Laude from Dickinson. At a young age, Pavel was
already employed at one of the most prominent financial solutions firms in the country.

Today, Pavel Hejsek is diligently pursuing his career at Deutsche Bank, primarily
working within the natural resources and clean technologies sectors. He is still an avid
tennis player, reflected by his status as an alumnus of the AlumniAthlete Wall Street
Internship program. He aims to continue his pursuit of a well-balanced and successful

Originally from the Czech Republic and quickly establishing himself as a force on Wall
Street, Pavel Hejsek’s young career is characterized by diligence and success. Through
his educational accomplishments, extra-curricular activities and work ethic, Pavel’s
exemplary record is only an indication of things to come.

Hejsek graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dickinson College. Known as one of
the best liberal arts colleges in the country - adhering to high admissions standards -
Pavel established himself not only through his academic achievements but through
his accomplishments on the tennis court. A recipient of the Lloyd Hughes Award,
recognizing the top student athlete-scholar each year, Pavel has proven that a balanced
life is a rewarding life.

After serving as an intern for both Deutsche Bank and the GIC group (an agribusiness
consultancy), Deutsche Bank saw great promise in Pavel and hired him as an analyst.
Currently, Pavel calls Wall Street his home, working with equity capital market products
like IPOs, follow-ons and equity tender offers, all within the natural resources and clean
tech industries.

Pavel Hejsek success

Success; it is the goal of anyone who ventures to New York City in an attempt to make
it in the financial district. From his humble beginnings in the Czech Republic, to his
recent arrival on Wall Street, Pavel Hejsek has let his dreams and ambitions guide him.
In everything he does, Pavel commits himself through hard work and perseverance. He
believes that success is not something that will be handed to him, but something that must
be earned.
Pavel Hejsek was accepted to the esteemed Dickinson College, located in the heart
of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Having a reputation as being a highly selective liberal arts
college, Pavel anticipated a long and challenging road. Being well-prepared and focused,
Pavel managed to graduate from Dickinson with honors. He was the recipient of an
undergraduate degree in Economics in 2010. Complimenting his outstanding educational
record, Pavel played tennis for the Dickinson Red Devils, and was granted the honor of
Team Captain on two separate occasions.

During his college days, Pavel was granted a summer internship at Deutsche Bank. Upon
his graduation, Deutsche Bank was so impressed with this young man that they hired him
as an analyst. He currently works within the natural resources and clean tech industries,
covering equity capital market products like IPOs, follow-ons, block trades and share
repurchases.

On a more personal note, Pavel is quad lingual; a truly remarkable feat. He also enjoys
spending time on the tennis court and listening to some of his favorite music including
